Editorial lifestyle shoot as statistics confirm men do less

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with journalist Tanith Carey and husband Anthony trying to create a set of editorial lifestyle pictures after official statistics confirmed men do less.

The Daily Telegraph Features section commissioned me to best emphasise this age-old argument between husband and wife.

Office for National Statistics has found that men spend 40 minutes more a day on leisure time

Across the UK, men apparently while away six hours and nine minutes a day on leisure activities. Women, on the other hand, wangle a mere five hours and 29 minutes to themselves, the Office for National Statistics found.

After questioning each of the spouses weekly schedules the images required became clear. Tanith either sat working on her laptop writing her latest book or dealing with household chores. Anthony with his cooking attire in the kitchen or ready for his next tennis game with friends. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words….
