Commissioned as the SOLO Royal Rota photographer at this years British Academy Film Awards. It was a great honour to photograph Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge throughout the awards ceremony.

The evening began with the first Rota position photographing the Royal couple as they arrived and walked along on the red carpet. Several shots here before moving swiftly inside to the second position to photograph them as they came down steps into the auditorium. It was very busy as we entered this area, with some of Hollywood’s greatest actors in close proximity either side.
On stage with the BAFTA winners
Once I had edited and sent all my images out via the WPA Pool for the worldwide media outlets I was ready for the final position. Here I met up with all the BAFTA winners on stage. Photographing The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge greeting the winners on stage. Some great pictures of Prince William chatting with Joaquin Phoenix, whilst Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge talked with Sam Mendes.
I was given amazing access, which produced wonderful photographs. Thank you to the Kensington Palace communications team for enabling the night to run so smoothly.
