Last month I was lucky enough to be commissioned for an #assignment in #Rwanda. This amazing country set in the Great Rift Valley, has construction on every street corner in the capital of Kigali, redeveloping this country’s infrastructure.
Commissioned to photograph the refugee campsites we travelled out with the #UNHCR to Gashora in collaboration with the Ministry in charge of Emergency Management (MINEMA) to meet some of the centres 700 refugees.
The photograph posted is actually from when I was based in Kigali and walked downtown to witness the life on the streets of this buzzing city. I was amazed how on every street there were women and men working together, laying bricks, or digging foundations, carving mud bricks out of the land, painting houses, a hive of activity where a nation is redeveloping together.
